Granite
One of natures strongest elements and a stylish classic.
Cut directly from various rocks in huge slabs, granite is a 100% unique, natural product, where all natural structures and color shades have been preserved. The oldest granites are several million years old, and built from minerals and metals developed through volcanic eruptions.
Daily cleaning is done with a clean, damp cloth. Granite withstands most cleaning products, but as the surface is porous and open it is recommended to use a stone oil, for preliminary and continuous maintenance, as it will make the natural stone less susceptible to stains. Q-Action is recommended for thorough cleaning, as strong acid/base cleaners may damage the surface permanently.
Granite is resistant to moderate heat, but hot pots and pans easily exceed the heat limit, and therefore must be placed on trivits.
