Silestone® is a quality composite product from Cosentino. Silestone® is part of the TFT Responsible Stone Program, which is your assurance that they are working with labour and environmental responsibility in the area of origin.
Daily cleaning is done with a clean, damp cloth. Highly colored foods can discolor especially the lighter quartz products and must be removed as quickly as possible. Quartz can withstand most cleaning products, but HORN recommends Q-Action for thorough cleaning, as strong acid/base cleaners may damage the surface permanently.
Quartz is resistant to moderate heat, but hot pots and pans easily exceed the heat limit, and therefore must be placed on trivits.
