Development, improvement & cooperation
HORN constantly strives to improve our business approach and continuously acquire knowledge and know-how to ensure quality without compromising material health and our shared responsibility.
But HORN also wants good partnerships. To implement the solutions of tomorrow, we need active cooperation with our suppliers, business partners, customers and end-users
We simply believe that a sustainable approach fits the future market.

HORN joined Global Compact in 2016, as a part of further ensuring social, economic and environmental responsibility.
A membership of Global Compact is based on 10 principles for human rights, labor rights, environment and anti-corruption.
HORN is committed to make the 10 principles part of their business activities and report on efforts taken through an annual Communication on Progress.
To ensure that a measurable and consequent approach to sustainable development is being rooted, HORN have furthermore become a member of the Danish CSR organisation; Green Network. The goal of Green Network is to support organisations with knowledge and tools to work with CSR, as a method to integrate business ethical initiatives in their business.

The objective is, as far as possible, to ensure a circular, sustainable use of materials used for the countertop production.
Circular economics get its inspiration from nature's own cycle, where nothing is wasted. HORN therefore works with an active focus on efficient resource consumption throughout the production process.
To ensure that we, also in the future, will be able to serve the best quality without compromising neither the environment, materialhealth nor our social responsibility, HORN participated in 2016-17 in a ReThink Business project focusing on creating a green business model based on circular economy. You will find further information regarding the project here.
